Integrated Employment Services Program

IES Program Overview

We are excited to introduce the IES program, which is funded by Employment Ontario to support individuals on their path back to meaningful work. Our comprehensive support includes resume building, job search strategies, and interview training. We also leverage our connections with employers through our database to facilitate opportunities and success. As such, we provide individualized, flexible, and client-centered employment services tailored to your unique needs.

Our commitment to your success extends beyond initial employment, as we provide ongoing support for an entire year! Check-ins occur at months 1, 3, 6, and 12 to ensure your continued growth and stability in the labour market.

To measure program effectiveness, we require periodic verification from clients, including paystubs, to demonstrate the positive impact of our program. We also require continued engagement from our clients to ensure that we are effectively and timely addressing their unique needs.

How the IES Program Works

Referral & Assessment Process

  1. Initial Referral: Ontario Works case workers complete Common Assessment Part 1 to initiate the referral process.
  2. Employment Readiness Assessment: RIWC completes Common Assessment Part 2 to determine the job seeker’s employment readiness.

Employment Action Plan (EAP)

  • Each participant receives a personalized Employment Action Plan (EAP) tailored to their career goals and unique needs.
  • Follow-up appointments are scheduled immediately to maintain engagement.
  • Ongoing monthly check-ins to ensure steady job search progress.

Supports Available

Financial Assistance*

  • RIWC provides support for transportation, work related expenses, and training costs (e.g., First Aid Certification).

Job Placement & Wage Subsidies*
