Women in the Garden

Funded by the United Way, our Women in the Garden is a culturally-relevant, intergenerational health & wellbeing program that engages senior immigrant and refugee women. Using gardening as a guiding framework, we aim to holistically address and support access to healthy food, physical & emotional health, community resources, and community connections.

The program is currently offered two days a week, focused on creating sense of connection, community and engagement during social isolation. Current classes are held online, with support provided in accessing iPads and the internet if needed.  Classes are FREE to attend on Tuesday’s & Thursdays from 10 am to 12 pm.
